Prof. Tom Brown will be giving a talk entitled Exploring the boundaries of nucleic acid chemistry in the Dyson Perrins Lecture Theatre, University of Oxford, South Parks Road, today (Thursday) at 4pm. All visitors are welcome. See http://www.chem.ox.ac.uk/faculty/ochemcolloquia.html for further information.
Prof. Tom Brown has been appointed Professor of Nucleic Acid chemistry at the University of Oxford, and the Brown group has moved to Oxford.
The paper Efficient self-assembly of DNA-functionalized fluorophores and gold nanoparticles with DNA functionalized silicon surfaces: the effect of oligomer spacers, in collaboration with Tracy Melvin (Optoelectronics Research Centre, University of Southampton), has been published online in Nucleic Acids Research.
