Accounts of Chemical Research paper published
A review entitled Click Nucleic Acid Ligation: Applications in Biology and Nanotechnology has been published in the journal Accounts of Chemical Research. In the paper, Afaf El-Sagheer and Tom Brown describe their ground-breaking work on the synthesis, characterization and applications of oligonucleotides prepared by click ligation, and applications in biology and nanotechnology.
Click DNA ligation featured on innovation website
Prof Tom Brown’s DNA click ligation technology is featured on the new innovation website marblar.com (http://marblar.com/2012/03/dna-click-ligation). The website includes a video in which Tom describes the technology, and a competition to win £2,000 by suggesting applications for the new technology.
New paper on SERS published in Langmuir
The paper Real-time SERS monitoring of surface pH during electrochemical melting of dsDNA, in collaboration with Phil Bartlett, has been published online in the journal Langmuir.
