Jo Riley
Jo-Anne graduated with an honours degree in Forensic Science from the University of Kent in 2009. Her degree included a year in industry which she spent in the Structural and Separation Sciences group at Pfizer in Sandwich. Jo-Anne’s current PhD research is focused on the use of mass spectrometry for the analysis of siRNA oligonucleotides. She is specifically investigating the use of cleavable small molecule mass tags as an indirect method of oligonucleotide detection and quantitation. Jo’s research is jointly supervised by Dr John Langley and Tom Brown (John Langley is supervising the mass spectrometric aspects of the project).
