Prof. Quanhong Yang
Prof. Quan-Hong Yang graduated from Tianjin University of China in 1994 with a bachelor’s degree in polymer engineering, and obtained his PhD from the Institute of Coal Chemistry (ICC) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 1999. He continued career as a post-doctoral researcher at the Institute of Metal Research (IMR) of CAS, CNRS (France), Tohoku University and Southampton University, where he worked with Profs Wei Loh (Electronics and Computer Sciences) and Tom Brown. Quan-Hong became professor of applied chemistry and materials science at the School of Chemical Engineering and Technology, Tianjin University (TJU) 2007, and has been a guest professor at the Key Laboratory for Carbon Materials of CAS since 2009. He serves as a member of the editorial board of several journals: Transactions of Tianjin University, New Carbon Materials, Plating and Finishing, Carbon Technology. Quan-Hong moved to Tsinghua University as a full professor of Materials and Nanotechnology in 2012.
