Pascal Harimech
Pascal obtained his degree in Physics (Diplom) from the University of Marburg in Germany (2012). In his final year, he worked in the Biophotonics group of Wolfgang Parak on an enzyme-based detector utilizing polyelectrolyte multilayer capsules. Pascal’s PhD research focuses on chiral plasmonics and physical properties of gold nanoparticles using DNA for the assembly of various structures. His research is jointly supervised by Tom Brown and Dr Antonios Kanaras (Dept of Physics, University of Southampton).
