Dr Graeme Clark

Graduate student (1996-1999)

Graeme received his PhD under the supervision of Tom Brown in 1999 for research investigating the MutHLS DNA repair pathway. After postdoctoral research in the Paediatric department at Southampton General Hospital, developing mass spectrometric technologies for the detection and quantification of phospholipids and other cellular biomarkers, he moved into the pharmaceutical industry where he held positions of increasing seniority in the field of DMPK and Bioanalysis. After completing a managerial tenure in contracted research, he moved to Pfizer in 2008 where he currently leads a team in the Department of Pharmacokinetics, Dynamics and Metabolism, supporting the research portfolio and advancing the technology for both small and large molecule drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics. In addition, Graeme is the lead scientist developing the science and implementation strategy of dried blood spots (microsampling and microanalysis) within Pfizer and the wider pharmaceutical industry.
