Dr Adam Wilson
Post-doctoral researcher (2015-2016)
Adam obtained his MChem at the University of Hull, after which he moved to Edinburgh to undertake a PhD in supramolecular chemistry under the supervision of Prof. David A Leigh. His thesis was completed in 2012: entitled “Molecular Information Ratchets”, it described the synthesis and operation of a number of molecular machines based on [2]rotaxane architectures. After his PhD Adam undertook postdoctoral research at the University of Geneva, where he worked on exotic supramolecular interactions and organic photovoltaics. He joined the Brown group in 2015 where he is working on fluorescent dyes for oligonucleotide probes.
